Durian Chiffon Cake

  • S$2.00 per slice
  • S$18 Large
  • S$10 Small

I opted to do minimal image editing this time to showcase the colour of the cakes. Despite being pandan and durian, the shade of green and yellow are quite light to other chiffon cakes you might find.

These cakes have a airy, fluffy texture, but have a good firmness to them.

Flavours are in the pandan cake is distinct, yet a bit relatively light to most other pandan cakes. The durian cake is stronger, as is usually the case with durian products, but is incorporated nicely into a cake form.

Decent cakes, but a tad expensive and inconvenient.

Rating for Pure Pandan Chiffon Cakes:

I rate food based on how far I am willing to travel, as well as whether I think the price I paid for it justifies it. You can read more about why here.

Travel-meter:

1A neighbourhood walk. These are not spectacular enough that I will travel here specifically for them. Unless of course, using natural ingredients for your food is something you are concerned about. However, they do offer delivery for orders S$80 and above, with a S$10 delivery charge.

Worth-it-meter:

3 out of 5A tad expensive, but you are getting what you paid for.

But I’m just a fat boi… what do other people think?
